The  International Day of Cooperatives (#CoopsDay) 2026 theme has been officially announced as “ Cooperatives for a peaceful world! ”, highlighting the vital role of cooperative enterprises in advancing social justice, inclusion and solidarity worldwide. Celebrated annually on the first Saturday of July , the observance will take place on 4 July 2026, bringing together cooperative movements, governments and partners across the globe. The observance aims to raise awareness of the contributions of cooperatives to sustainable development and to strengthen collaboration between the United Nations and the international cooperative movement . The ‘Heimatfreunde im Hammer Land’ and the daycare centre social work, in cooperation with the daycare centre networkers in the Hamm (Sieg) municipality, invite you to an exciting family day from 2 pm to 6 pm!  Young guests and their parents can look forward to numerous hands-on activities. Whether on laundry day, in the outdoor kitchen or on a visit to the old school – the children will be playfully transported back to the time when Raiffeisen lived. The programme also includes guided tours for children through the permanent exhibition at the Raiffeisen Museum, starting at 3 pm and then every hour.
